(Vita's POV)

Justin looked like he was settling down with more and more relaxing treatment. When the music switched to something with more energy, I caught his foot moving to the rhythm until I changed it back to calming music. The whole point to this is to have him relax on his own rather than tire him out which would be harder since he doesn't want to play just yet. He did seem to love the food I made for him earlier, but he hasn't shown any progress when I get near him by entering his room. The next thing I tried was putting my phone in front of him and having him watch some cartoons. I don't think he needs to understand what they are seeing to find this enjoyable. Soon, I did hear something coming from him that I think was laughter. When I went back to check on him, he didn't notice me at first until I got down and tapped the floor to get his attention for no surprise.

Vita-Hey there... Think I can come over and pet you a little? ~

I slowly and steadily got closer to him and he looked nervous but stayed in his bed to watch me. When I was close enough to pet him, I put my hand in front of him for a moment for him to sniff it or something. When I finally pet him, I felt him shiver a little, but he didn't run... Suddenly, he snapped and swiped at my hand. He didn't have any claws, so it was like being gently pawed to ask me to stop. Next, I tried to put a toy in front of him and it was the one he cuddles with on his bed.

Justin-*Yipe*!

He got really protective and possessive of his toy. He snatched it from me and put it back where I picked it from like it was lying down for bed.

Vita-Ok, no touching your favorite toy.

(Noah's POV)

I didn't want her to touch my new toy and maybe even take it like the adults do to 'share' the toys back home. She backed up and I watched her while stealing looks at the cartoon she put in front of me. I thought this was funny and almost like the Looney Toons show but with more aliens. She left and I felt like I could relax in bed to the music while watching the show. It's been a while since she came back with some more treats to put in my tiny puzzle dresser before she left... Chocolate sounded really good right now. I waited for her to leave before I went over to the dresser. The first few puzzles were easy and the chocolate was so good, but then... they got harder.

Noah-Ok, maybe over here... No... This thing clicks when you turn it and then has a big click, so I stop when that happens... I think.

I kept on trying to figure out the other puzzles, but nothing worked and this got so annoying that I quit... A chocolate ball was put on top of the dresser for me by the alien by surprise. I jumped a little and looked up to her before I took it and went back to bed. The music helped calm me down and even a little sleepy. I got in bed and under the blanket with my stuffed animal and it warmed up by itself and then got cooler somehow when I felt a little too hot. When I tried to go to sleep... I heard footsteps, so I opened my eyes to look up, but the blue alien was leaving with her phone. The feeling of this place being scary to me still didn't go away.

Noah's mind-... This bed and stuffed animal are cozy.

(Vita's POV)

Justin was going down for a nap and I didn't need to give him any form of sedatives. He even tried his puzzle toy dresser to get his treats, given he got stuck and angry. When I got on my phone, I saw some messages from Mom that I silenced to let Justin watch his show in peace. She wanted to know how things were, so I was honest with her about Justin... I got a call from her.

Vita-Hey Mom.

Mom-You have a pet now?! Do you have pictures?!

Vita-Well, he's a rescue and... here.

I sent her a picture I had of him sleeping and waited for her to reply.

Mom-What animal is that?

Vita-A human from a restricted area. We found him on a smuggler's ship.

Mom-Well they look adorable. Mind if I meet them?

Vita-Not right now, he's still adjusting and very timid. His species is not very domesticated. Though he doesn't have anything like sharp teeth, claws, or a stinger.

Mom-So he's feral?

Vita-Umm... Kind of... He's sweet, but just not open to anyone, yet, so I was working on that today.

Mom-Well, let me know how everything goes. I'll let you go.

Vita-Love you, Mom.

I hung up and thought about sedating and holding Justin again, but I wanna do it without sedating him...

(Timeskip 1 Hour)

I waited until he was asleep before I carefully picked him up and went to my room with him to close the doors, block any way under my bed or furniture, and sit on the floor so he wouldn't run off my bed and hurt himself when he woke up. He still had his favorite toy and was under a blanket in my arms. He looked peaceful in his sleep and I used a finger to scratch his head to gently wake him up.

Vita's mind-Please, don't freak out too bad.

He slowly opened his eyes and when he did, it took a moment for his situation to register to him...

Justin-*YIPE* *yipe* *squeak* *yipe!

Vita-Hey, hey, it's alright. ~

I kept a calm voice while he scrambled to try and get out of his blanket and my grasp, but I kept a gentle and firm hold on him. He quickly stopped struggling and only hid his face in his toy. I bounced him a little and heard him whimper as I cuddled him.

Vita-See, I got you. ~

I scratched his back from under him and I could tell he liked it after he jumped a little. If animals know one thing is that if I feed, cuddle, and give toys, then I am good to them. He's just being shy about it. Pulling down his toy a little to see his little eyes full of uncertainty, but at least he wasn't screaming and trying to get away again.

Vita-Hi there... Are you cozy? ~

Justin-*Whimper*.

It's clear my size is still a problem for him, but then I thought about it. Sola was not even half as big as us and can be motherly to things she likes and Clove said she took an interest in my pet over the phone.

Vita-Wanna make a new friend? ~

He only looked at me, but I took that as I am Clove and Sola over here anyway. I think he's warmed up to me enough to find some level of comfort. Until she gets here, he's just going to be with me like this. When I got comfy in bed with him, I texted Clove with a picture that I needed a little help and if she could bring Sola.

Clove's text-On my way, just getting Sola out of a bath.

She does love water. I should get Justin ready for when they come over too. I think a bath will be a good start, but when I took him to the bathroom, he curled up, and even more so when I turned on the water. I took his blanket and toy first to his disliking, but he knew what was next... I closed the bathroom door to keep him from escaping. When I got his clothes off of him and put him in the water, I added some sedative bath soap for him because of the way he was reacting and the last thing I needed for him was him panicking and getting soap in his eyes.

(Noah's POV)

I hated being naked in the bath in front of someone, but I couldn't stop her no matter how hard I tried. When the water made it very hard to do anything she started to scrub my hair with shampoo and conditioner. I managed to grab her fingers to try and stop her, but all she did was smile and play with my arms to make them dance, so I let go. She got my body next and was quicker about this part. She took me out to dry me off and dress me again like last time before she wrapped me in my blanket with my toy a little tighter this time. I couldn't move much before, but not at all now.

Noah-*Groan* Put... me down.

She only rubbed my head while holding me against her when she sat on the couch. She put cartoons on the big T.V. in here and made me cuddle with her. When my tummy growled she got up with me and opened the fridge to pull out some meat and held it up to me. I took the food and gave me a kiss on my head while I was chewing before she went to sit back down... It's so hard to stay scared right now and not close my eyes... I gave in and started to fall asleep on the blue alien while she petted me. I even felt a few kisses which made my face scrunch up a little.

Noah-*Yawn*.

I finally fell asleep.

(Vita's POV)

Clove won't be here for a little while longer, so I thought Justin taking a nap wouldn't be so bad. I even liked the feeling of him sleeping on me like this. I moved him up to my chest before I changed the channel to a show that I liked. I even thought of some things Clove and I could do when she gets over and our pets are getting acquainted with each other... Well, Sola hunting Justin down to take care of him if she likes him that much.

Vita-Oh Justin, Sola is going to love you... She just won't put you in her toy egg.
