((Y/N)'s POV)

Helen was giving more of her milk during a movie tonight and Judy was rubbing my head to help me relax, but it was making me really tired. I told them this, but they would not stop since it was close to my bedtime. When my eyes felt heavy, I wiggled a little until I got comfy against Helen and finally stopped drinking her milk. She bounced me on her lap while fixing her shirt and leaned back a little to help me lay down a little more. I fell asleep while listening to the movie and Helen's heartbeat before she finally planted a kiss on my head.

(Y/N)-*Yawn*.

(Diane's POV)

This was good considering the effects seemed to be dated from this world. I watched until I turned and Saw Helen getting up with (Y/N) while he was sleeping and she was walking around to let us give him a kiss goodnight.

Helen-We'll be in his new room. If you wanna join, just be quiet and don't wake him up when you come in. *whisper*

She left the living room and I felt like finishing this movie with the others before I go to sleep, but fate had other plans. We got a call to the house which meant it wasn't company business or my AI would've picked it up. I went to go answer the house phone in the staff lounge before the sound woke up (Y/N) from how loud it was.

Diane-Hello?

???-Yes, may I speak to (D/N)?

Diane-He no longer lives here, but I can take a message.

???-Who am I speaking to?

Diane-A caretaker for the house and the child, known as (Y/N).

???-I see... I am a detective and calling regarding the disappearances at the hotel. Do you know where I could get a hold of (D/N)?

I narrowed my eyes a little, but I tangoed with detectives before and left them at dead ends. I plugged one of my gadgets into the phone and waited for the light to blink red.

Diane-I'm not sure. The last we heard from him is when he came home, packed up, and said he would no longer be living here.

???-When was this?

Diane-A few days ago.

???-Well then, we would like to have someone come overnight now to speak with the kid.

Diane-Excuse me, but if I am familiar with my rights, you can not come in without a warrant or solid evidence, or any confirmed emergency of any kind. Am I mistaken, detective?

???-... That's right. We will do the questioning another day.

Diane-Over the phone. I'm sure you won't mind if we record the call ourselves while you have recordings and our location.

???-Why not in person?

Diane-(Y/N) is in a 'very' fragile state of mind and we take his physical and mental health seriously around here.

???-Then I will need to see a copy of papers approved by a doctor to show what he has been diagnosed with.

Diane-Very well, but before I hang up and go to bed. Name and badge number, please.

???-Detective Muller. 2976.

Diane-Well then... Have a good night detective.

Muller-You too.

I hung up the phone and held the bridge of my nose. Just when I thought we were in the clear for a smooth sailing life here, now we have detectives breathing down our necks. Just then, Judy and Tigress came in and it looks like their hearing was like mine, if not better.

Diane-... How much did you-?

Judy-I heard that 'detective' on the phone when he said he was a detective.

Tigress-We can't let them come here!

Diane-We got some time and we'll think of something. I dealt with detectives before that were very good at their job and still outsmarted them.

Judy-Are you sure?

Diane-Best bad guy from my movie world, remember?

(Timeskip To Morning)

((Y/N)'s POV)

I was in Poppy's room with just Poppy and she wanted me to do poses for a scrapbook with a camera she found and one pose was me holding my feet in the air and grabbing them like a baby.

Poppy-I saw this one show where a person shows 2 peace signs while smiling softly. It was so cute! Try and do that!

(Y/N)-O-Ok.

I did the pose and she screamed before jumping on the button to take the picture and got started on putting it in the big book.

(Poppy's POV)

So happy that Helen found this camera for me to take pictures of (Y/N). It was like instant materials for a scrapbook and it was large sized to me. If only we had these back home, I could make so many scrapbooks, like I plan to do. When I got a couple dozen more, the camera stopped giving pictures and he said that it might be out of paper or something.

Poppy-Awww... Can you still do more poses for me?

(Y/N)-Um... Like what?

Poppy-Something that works with you blushing.

He looked so confused and adorable while he was trying to find a good pose for me, but it looks like he was just going to scramble to find one... I wish I had a picture of this. Just then, Elsa came into the room and saw what (Y/N) was doing before she closed the door.

Elsa-Awwwww. Are you posing (Y/N)? ~

I scrambled a bit and blushed even harder than he did while posing for me to take pictures of him. While he was trying to make something up, I showed her the scrapbook.

Elsa-Oh my goodness! (Y/N), look at you! Awwwww, are you putting your hands on your had to look like kitty ears? Everyone will love this! ~

(Y/N)-I-I-!

Elsa-Tigress will love this one! Let's go show them! ~

(Muller's POV)

There was something about that woman on the phone, but she was right. We can't go in based on hunches, so we are in the process of getting a warrant. I won't settle for phone calls. My partners and I are going to that house to see if there is anything to find. It'll make it easier if they try to get rid of evidence because I sent a few officers to stake out the house. The moment they leave, we can apprehend them for having a 'suspicious possession' that we need to check. Deleted files can always be recovered, and if there are any fires reported from the house then we can double-check the records and phone calls while looking up chat history on texts. We were back at the hotel right now and there were still no clear signs of where all those people went.

Muller's mind-They had to go somewhere. Somehow... What am I missing here?

Just then, Detective Hues came up to me and he looked like he was empty-handed.

Muller-Nothing?

Hues-Whoever deleted the video footage really covered their tracks. Nothing for the last 4 hours before the video goes dark, but the last transaction anywhere in the hotel was at the front counter. A few hours into the event.

Muller-Did Hudson find anything?

Hues-The odd setup in the security room has been studied since we got here, but with no fingerprints or any DNA samples left behind, the trail has gone cold... Muller, we got no leads except that house of caretakers, the son (D/N), and the grandson (Y/N). If it's not them, then we got nothing.

Muller-No reports from the officers staking out the house... Go get Hudson. We'll do the stakeout ourselves.

Hues-And the hotel?

Muller-Let the police chief take care of it from here. We only got one more lead and all we can do is wait for the warrant to search the house and Stakeout.

Hues went to go grab Hudson while I called the officers and told them that my team and I were coming to take their place. When we got in the car to start getting ready, the first thing we wanted to do was stop for some food and coffee.

Hudson-If this is really the last lead we got then we need to do all we can. I say one of us goes undercover to get close to the house.

Hues-They are in a house in the middle of the mountains. What can any of us go undercover as?

Hudson-I'm up for ideas. They heard Muller's voice, so he can't go too close for undercover work.

Muller-Not to mention that if she was genuine then they are going to b protective of that kid for whatever reason.

Hues-So we can't get close, we have to watch the house until we or even if we get a warrant, and with nothing else... We can't do anything but go over the records again.

This wasn't my first hard case, but I will be damned if it will be the first one I let go cold and close without it being solved. A whole hotel full of people can't just vanish. I will say it a thousand times if I have to.

Muller's ind-Alright lady... What are you hiding?

(Tigress's POV)

We all saw the pictures that Poppy took of (Y/N) before Judy took him to his old room which is now a playroom to play some video games with him. With nothing else to do, I just went into the gym, but kept on thinking about what Diane warned us about and applied a few rules. Curtains are to be closed at all times, no going outside, and no making answering the phone except for her. They could have someone watching us from somewhere. All the more reason to train and stay alert or they might spot us and make things worse.

Tigress's mind-If anyone tried to separate us, they will face my wrath before the others can get their hands or paws on them.
