((Y/N)'s POV)

The room I was in was so dark after I walked on a path made of tiles that looked bright. Whatever room I was in, there was A/C and a sweet smell to it. I was still scared of the dark, so I went on my phone and tried to find a flashlight, but just then I got a call from Alphys, so I pressed the green button to answer it. I wanted to keep looking for the flashlight app on the phone, so I put her on the speaker to still talk to her. I was getting nervous in the dark soon and trying to go back out of the room slowly.

Alyphys-A-A-Alphys here! H-Hey, it's kinda dark in there, isn't it? Don't worry. I'll hack the light system to bring them up.

When the lights came on, I felt better for a moment until I saw it was a kitchen with cameras pointing at it and Mettaton was at the counter.

(Y/N)'s mind-Oh no.

Mettaton-OHHHH, YES!!! WELCOME BEAUTIES, TO THE UNDERGROUND'S PREMIER COOKING SHOW!!!

I heard applause and walked deeper into the room and saw that there was no crowd, but there was a camera crew looking and smiling at me. Speakers were making the applause noise, but I hated being in front of crowds. I tried to run past the room, but I ran into a force field which made a laughing sound happen.

Mettaton-Oh my. It seems my lovely assistant has a case of stage fright. ~ AREN'T THEY JUST ADORABLE AS THEY ARE SHY FOLKS?!?!?!

Speakers-Awwwwww. ~

I felt my face burning up and I could not get out of here, so I turned back to Mettaton.

Mettaton-NOW, ON WITH THE SHOW!!! PRE-HEAT YOUR OVENS BECAUSE WE HAVE A 'VERY' SPECIAL RECIPE FOR YOU TODAY!!! WE'RE GOING TO BE MAKING... A CAKE!!!

I felt so confused and wondered what she was planning. Last time she did a quiz show and said I would get captured if I lose. This can't just be a cooking show. How is this going to help her get me?

Confetti rained down on me while the speakers made clapping sounds, but the monsters behind the camera waved at me with their fingers. I looked down and I remember I just have to play her game and win.

I just got the stuff from the counter behind us and the cameras followed me until I put the ingredients on the counter. I could also see myself on a screen and I saw how red my cheeks were, so I tried to cover them in a way that wasn't too obvious.

Speakers-Awwwww. ~

Mettaton-PERFECT! GREAT JOB BEAUTIFUL! WE GOT ALL THE INGREDIENTS WE NEED TO BAKE THE CAKE! MILK, SUGAR, EGGS... OH MY! WHAT A MAGNIFICENT MOMENT! HOW COULD I FORGET?! WE'RE MISSING THE MOST IMPORTANT INGREDIENT!

She reached under the counter and pulled out a container and opened it to show a powder inside... What is that stuff?

She clicked a button and robotic arms grabbed me while she went to the fridge to pull out the cake and cut a slice before she came up to me with a bite on the fork. The robot hands forced my mouth open while I struggled to get free, turn away, or close my mouth, but I couldn't do anything.

Mettaton sighed before she put the cake down and answered her phone and then put it on speaker.

Alphys-W-Wait a second!

Alphys-C-Couldn't you make a-?... Couldn't you skip-?... Could you n-not use a... sedative ingredient?

Mettaton-... NO XYLAZINE? YOU MEAN MAKE A CAKE THAT WILL NOT HELP MONSTERS FIND AND KEEP THEIR LOVED HUMANS?... WHY?

Alphys-Umm... What if someone's... allergic?

Mettaton-... ALLERGIC.

Alphys-Uhhhh, well I-.

My face was burning up after both questions ended up being 'no'. She even talked to me like a baby and let the camera people come closer instead of zooming in and showing me on the screen... I was as red as a tomato!

(Y/N)'s mind-Just get home... Nobody here will ever see you again if you make it home.

Just thinking about it made me shiver and blush a little.

(Y/N)-A-At least Alphys is helping me.

(Alphy's POV)

My stream and Mettaton's show were doing so well, and his pink cheeks look so adorable! I couldn't stop myself from kicking my feet and head a recording of Mettaton feeding him a slice of cake and cooing at him.

Alphys-*Squeal*!

((Y/N)'s POV)

I saw a big building or something far away and surrounded by Lava. After a bit of staring at it the phone, Alyphys gave me rang. I answered while still looking at whatever that thing was.

Alphys-S-See that building in the distance? That's the CORE. The source of all power for the Underground. It converts geothermal energy into magical electricity by-... Well anyway, that's where we are gonna go.

(Y/N)-It looks... too hot. Is it safe?

Alphys-Completely safe. In the CORE is an elevator directly to Asgre's castle. And from there, you can go home.

(Y/N)-But what about the queen?

Alphys-I have something for when you reach the elevator. Just trust me.

She hung up and I guess I can trust her that much or she would have let Mettaton feed me that bad cake. I kept on going and made it to an elevator marked R1. I got inside and went up and then when I got out, Alphys posted a picture of a girl with cat ears, next to a bowl of instant noodles. I just put the phone away and focused on walking faster to get out of this heat. I hate hot weather so much that I think I was almost missing Waterfall... Almost. I kept on going and saw steam pipes, a microwave, and more steam pipes that just made this place hotter. Suddenly things got dark and I screamed a little before Alphys called.

Alphys-A-Another dark room? Don't worry. M-My hacking skills have things covered!

The lights came on and now I saw some kind of box over me with a hole in it and a camera pointing down in it at me... 'She' was also here.

Alphys-Are you serious?

She just fed and treated me like a baby at a cooking show! NOW, WHAT DOES SHE WANT?!?!?!

I hate her so much, but I can always ask Alphys for help if anything happens. I saw 6 items in the room and didn't trust this at all. I just reported a boring glass of water, but what she said next...

(Alphys's POV)

(Y/N) just panicked and ran around when I told him about a defuse app, but none of these bombs will actually go off. I spent the time explaining to my viewers that the bombs were not real and the human boy was completely safe. This plan did backfire in the social media department, but after I save (Y/N) from this, his trust in me will just build up more... With that, I went ahead and called this art off earlier by saying I called her bluff and found that the bombs were not real. This made (Y/N) sit down and breathe, so I felt a little bad for scaring him like this... The queen won't be happy either.

*Ringing*

I looked at my phone and it was... the queen.

Alphys's mind-Oh dear, was she watching?! She doesn't even have a T.V. in her house!

I got some explaining to do if she saw the 'news'. I just held my finger over the green button but waited for too long... I missed the call... Maybe, texting and saying I'm busy with someone will help a little. She immediately text back and said,... "Would you care for tea later while going over reports?"

Alphys-*Phew*... Alright, back to the adventure... I should get going to meet them at the CORE.

I should also throw something in for the queen for when she finds out about this... I also need to grab a few more things before I leave.

((Y/N)'s POV)

Fake bombs?!... FAKE BOMBS?!?!?! I wiped the last of the tears from my face and kept on walking. I can't thank Alphys enough because I thought I was going to pass out back there. When I saw my phone ringing, I took a deep breath to make sure I was done crying before I answered.

(Y/N)-H-Hey Alphys.

Alphys-Um... I've noticed you've been kinda quiet... N-Not that I blame you! That was super scary. Also, are you worried about meeting Asgre?... W-Well, don't worry, ok? Th-The queen is a really nice lady. I'm sure you can talk to her.

I don't think that will work since monsters keep telling me that I already belong to her, but I don't even know what she looks like.

Alphys-And... With your human soul. You can pass through the barrier, s-so no worrying, ok? J-Just forget it and smile.

I made it to another elevator and thought about what Alphys said. It was kind of weird, but she might just be trying to cheer me up like my mom does, even if it's a lie sometimes. While I was going up and I got another call from Alphys and he asked me if I wanted to watch a show called "Mew Mew Kissy Cutie" with her if I had some time to do it before I leave. I don't think I will be allowed near the mountain again when I get back home and I most likely get grounded, but...

(Y/N)-Yeah... I would like that.

I think I should at least make her happy after all she's done for me. She kept on talking about the show, but I was still thinking about the fake bombs and the queen. She hung up when the elevator stopped, so I started walking again. I saw I was high up, so I stayed away from the edges and went a little slow... I was afraid of heights too. When I saw a stand and walked in front of it a monster turned around and she had 6 arms.

I saw her look a little surprised before she smiled and this reminded me of the bunny ladies back in Snowdin. I don't wanna do that again.

She used for hands to cup and rub my face until I backed up a little. She just smiled and looked at me a little funny.

I walked away and saw another monster looked scared while looking at a donut as I passed them. I walked into another room that was covered in spiderwebs. I hated when spiderwebs touched me and these looked like the same kind of spiders in The Ruins. I did my best to dodge as many as I could, but the ones on the floor were so sticky that it made me go slower than I already was. When I tripped in this dark room from a web, I started to cry and reach for my phone to get Alphys to help me if she could, but my arms were stuck on the web too.

(Y/N)-H-Help! *sobbing* I-I'm stuck!

I tried to break free even more until I froze when I heard that lady again.

Muffet-Help? Fuhuhuhuhu... After you so rudely walked away from me without offering so much as 1 gold? *tsk *tsk* *tsk* ~

I was flipped over and trapped in the webs from the floor... It was Muffet smiling at e while she wiped the tears from my face.

I tried to wiggle free, but the webs only got tighter, and then she picked me off the floor, still stuck in her web.

Muffet-*Shhhh* *shh* *shh* *shhhh* I believe you my Little Muffin... Perhaps we could work something out. ~

She poked my nose and started to walk back with me to her stand.

(Muffet's POV)

All I did was put up a few limited-time offers, like pet the human = 150g, picture with the human = 250g, hold the human = 350g, feed the human =750g with purchase, and all of the above 4000g. After that, one post online led to monsters lining up from the elevator and his cute little blushes really made monsters go back in line for more deals and purchases. Holding him was extremely popular and I said kisses were free with the purchase of holding him. Mainly because I want to see his cute little cheeks blush even more. Whenever he was not being held, he was on my lap for me to love and dote on him.

(Y/N)-*Whimper*.

Muffet-Look how popular you are Little Muffin. Hmmm... I was going to let you go after a while, but... I think I have room in my bed for a cute little cuddle toy. ~

He looked at me with fear in his eyes, but sadly I could not enjoy it since a monster paid for all of the above, so I gave them a spider donut to feed him. They even cooed at and kissed him while a spider took a picture with her phone.

Monster-You're going to be my new wallpaper on my phone, baby face. Yes, you are. ~

When his face turned back to me, I just smiled and squealed a little.
