Welcome to my new project! This work is focused on a big area which includes Vietnam, Cambodia and parts of Laos, Thailandia and China, with a resolution of 30 meters per block.

The position of biomes is entirely based on real land cover data, as done in the previusly released maps, but in addition to land cover data, Open Street Map data was used in order to get the best possible coastlines, rivers and streams (streams which were totally missing before)

Map info:

Vietnam is known for its geographical diversity. In the north, the Hoang Lien Son mountains offer breathtaking views with their imposing peaks and deep valleys. The terraced rice fields of Sapa are another sight not to be missed. In the south, the Mekong Delta with its winding rivers and lush islands offers a unique view.

Cambodia, on the other hand, is dominated by Lake Tonle Sap, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. The Cardamom rainforests are another key element of the Cambodian landscape, hosting a rich biodiversity.

• NASADEM DEM data at 30m resolution

• GLC_FCS30 Land Cover data for biomes positioning at 30m resolution

• SRTM15+ Bathymetry data - cubic reinterpolation to 30m resolution

• Open Street Map data for coastlines, rivers, streams and beaches positioning - rasterization to 30m resolution
