The "how to respond to change effectively" was my cagey way of saying, "how to handle abandonment issues" which is, in fairness, a bit beyond the scope of a more casual audio...or anything that isn't a therapy session. Sometimes past me leaves puzzles for present me to find, so that's neat. At least I could put this one back together, lol. OH! Awesome audio and thank you for doing these and fielding questions. What you were talking about with the Predator vs Prey thing is called R & K type strategies. For R selected, high amount of offspring will hopefully result in some of them surviving. Extremely High rate of reproduction and low care i.e. Bugs, swine, fish. For K-selected strategy, lower rate of reproduction but a much higher level of care i.e. Apes, primates, Cows, humans. Hypnosis? I'd be down for that! One of my friends mentioned it in conversation and I thought we were on the same wavelength, turns out they were on about quitting smoking via hypnotherapy 😑 Managed to weazle my way out of explaining myself somehow 😗
