Hey folks!

Next week we begin the next big mega-module series, Seekers of Yil. The party must recover four powerful artifacts for Yil, the God of Mysteries and Secrets. Check out the art for Yil below.

Once the party recovers the four artifacts, Yil will reveal that he plans to use them to cause chaos.

The characters will need to ensure this doesn't happen by taking the fight to Yil himself.

There's only one problem, though—I don't know what Yil's lair looks like yet! Help me decide with this poll.

What if they want to partner with Yil?

Always an option! I had someone tell me they're running an evil campaign that started with Queen of Shadows. They ended up teaming up with the sandman from Enter Sandman, too :D

Wanted to vote for the forest on the back of the giant turtle swimming in an underground sea...

Haha next time! We *do* have some spelljammer ships coming, so maybe that can be one?

Yil sounds like they're one of the Old Gods. I imagine the mesas to be very much like a Salvador Dali painting. A demi-plane dominated by non-Euclidean geometry, where the horizon becomes hyperbolic, going 'up' the sides of the mesa, 'reaching' for a vanishing point way off-kilter. I admit that would be VERY hard to pull off as a 2-dimensional map without using grid lines of varying width and beyond the ability of Roll20 or Foundry to handle.

There’s some old Dungeon modules that use non-Euclidean geometry. I might pull from those. We have a non Euclidean one coming out for this set too

Awesome! Do you remember any of the titles? I have a bunch of the old magazines but don't remember seeing anything like that. I may try drawing something like what I described. I sorta got it stuck in my head now.

One is Bzallin’s Black Sphere which were riffing on soon.
