Uncle Skeleton's Nightmare Tunnels Return! - Dungeons & Lairs Poll for August 2022 + Index (Patreon)

Finally able to share some big news with everyone—Uncle Skeleton's Nightmare Tunnels will be making its grand return. And this time, I've got some backup—the writing team and I will be tackling the Nightmare Tunnels. 

If you haven't heard of Uncle Skeleton's Nightmare tunnels yet, it's a colossal map created by Tim Hartin of Dungeon of the Mad Mage fame that's got over 170 rooms. I've attempted to stock it twice but lost steam midway through both times. With writers helping, it should be a lot easier, now! I'll be writing some of the big pieces and also overseeing the whole project, so it should still have the zany Gygaxian vibe you've come to love with the two previous attempts.

It will probably take us about two months to complete the entire thing as I've got to make new maps (using my fancy new resources) and the writers will have to divvy up the 170+ rooms that make the full complex.

I let all the writers pick three monsters that they want to write for this first batch. Pick the one that you like the best and that monster will get its own section of the infamous Nightmare Tunnels.

This poll will end in two weeks to give everyone plenty of time to vote.

As usual, here's the Dungeons/Lairs back catalog. Kenku, aarakocra, drow, and merfolk won the last poll, so they'll be featured in a series of Spelljammer adventures prior to the release of Uncle Skeleton.
