A pretty simple map today, but one that will kick off the stronghold builders content I plan to make next month. I decided to pull from history and create a 13th-century medieval cottage. This is a one-room, dirt floor, flint wall building with no windows and a simple door. I wanted to make beehives (the villeins really liked their honey) but didn't have the assets for it nor the inclination to kitbash it. Ah well.

This set comes with night and day, gridded and ungridded. One level and the thatch roof. Enjoy!

I LOVE THIS. Thanks for much for the realistic take. I for one wish I could find a lot more historically accurate representations in the community. I'd love to see other buildings in a similar vein. Is there a way to get the DD file — or are those only available in a higher Patreon tier?

I'm not sure I can share the DD file since I have a special arrangement with Forgotten Adventures and 100% of this uses their assets. I'll have to check with their team.

If you can’t share the DD file, no prob. I also own all of the FA assets files, since I support them as well, if it makes any difference, but if you can't that's fine. I'm very excited about more realistic/historical building designs! I think it's a blind spot for many content creators. Everyone likes to be more fantastic than the next guy, but I crave some well-grounded, gritty stuff!
