Instead of suggesting levels, I decided to roll a d20 to come up with the level I'll do. I got 5th.

So that's out of the way. But what should the theme be? Give me your wildest ideas for a theme based on "maze of the storm lady."

Also, dang watabou... not much of a maze with only 9 rooms, is it? Gonna have to figure something out for that!

I'm currently running Storm King's Thunder and my players are just reaching fifth level. I'm going to need some encounters they face while exploring for the next 5 levels. I would love to throw in a side quest at sea with this.

Upon entering the dungeon, the walls slowly change to resemble the cabin of ship. You hear a crack of thunder and the pelting rain and winds against the walls. When you open the door, the entire maze is engulfed in perpetual storm (either real or illusionary) with pelting ice rain, and chilling winds. The maze itself flickers between reality (stone walls, stone floors, etc) and the deck of a ship causing the players to make Dex saves as the "floor" heaves in the storm, waves crash into them. Sailors appear and disappear all trying deperately to save the ship. From time to time the Captain will orders the party to do a task (Skill challenge) in order to save the ship. If the ship capsizes who knows what will happen (nothing? the maze floods for real? the storm worsens? the illusion ends?). Once the party has reached the end and gotten whenever they came in for, the sailors become aggresive and try to the stop the party on the way out (Skill challenges on the way in, Combat the way out). The maze is always shifting in appearance between the ship and the maze. Some sailors are illusionary, some are undead that look like live sailors (released after they loot the place). The sound of pelting rain, howling winds, and thunder remain. Do angry whispers float on the wind or was that their imagination. Is the floor tilting like the deck of a ship or just their imagination?

Probably way to specific for what you were looking for, but it came to me so I wrote it down. I'll mostly likely use your maze and my idea if I every get my group free time to line up again. hahah
