Perhaps it's because we've all got Godzilla fighting monsters on the mind, but it seems that a lot of folks were kinda interested in an idea of a semi-post-apocalyptic world over run by colossal monsters.

Here are some of the elements I want to work into this:

• A series of cities built on the back of massive ancient creatures that serves as guardians and local "gods"to the citizens. Also think a sand ocean would be interesting so i guess sand pirates 
• Include a powerful and up and coming faction/group/organization that wants to rid the world of magic, as it’s what fuels many powerful monsters.  
• ...  a world where two well established continents have recently made contact and there is both tension and excitement with the two new continents trying to get a one up on the other countries and establish trade and stuff
• ,,, add mythic items that everyone is always looking for but are always out of reach. And maybe have each area it's out kinda fantasy kinda like the planes, so one play does magic steam punk, ones full on knights and magic and dragon riders, ones  more magic tech with ships and rudimentary tech powered by magic stones etc 
• Imagine a corporation like Weyland-Yutani found a mostly empty earth-like world terraformed it and went all Jurassic Park on it.  But instead of creating dinosaurs they created dragons, elves, dwarfs, griffins, Godzilla like creatures, super smart spiders,   anything they could think of.  They sit in a space station in orbit play gods until something goes wrongs and they end up crashing and then trying to live  in the world they created. 
• I like the idea of a world ruled by giants and their every day items and the megaflora are what smaller races of anthropomorphic animals use to defend themselves against monsters and ultimately overthrow even just one of the giant overlords.  

You might recognize all of these as the suggestions from the post I made yesterday. I thought, well, why the hell shouldn't I just include all of it? After all, it fits pretty nice.

Someone created a world full of super monsters (like Kaiju). The world crumbled. Thousands of years pass and now everyone's trying to pick up the pieces.

What are your thoughts? Any additional ideas?
