Good morning, folks! It's that time again. Here's your call to action. Remember, you have three types of actions:

  • Full might action. This an action you do with all your might.
  • Might 1 action. This is your bonus action.
  • Chosen One actions. You get one Chosen One action for each Chosen one you have. Not everyone has chosen ones. Make sure to check your current level with the simplified rules below. Only Rank 5 and higher have chosen ones.

When formating your actions, please include the following information:

The Name of Your God - The Type of Action You're Taking (you can abbreviate with M6, etc) - And then what you plan on doing. 

In addition, please separate actions even if you're using more than one action to perform a single task. For example, if you plan on doing a Full Might action to raze a competing god's temple and you want to toss one of your CO actions in there, too, first post a comment with your Full Might action, then reply to your own comment with your CO action.

All opposition and assist actions should be a reply to the original action.

Rules Adjustments

In addition to the new rules, there is one quick adjustment:

  • A reminder: permanent changes to any of the maps--ie, changing the type of hex or adding a new settlement, raising a mountain, etc. costs creation tokens. It's 1 creation token per hex and a full settlement costs 3 creation tokens for a hamlet. It costs only 1 token to upgrade a town to a larger settlement. 


Today's Quest Prompts:

Alligator Loch

  • Alligator Loch becomes available to travel through. Refer to its maps for details.

Drakecrags 

  • A trio of goblin hunters from Gorkil killed a group of lizardfolk from Hidab. Among the lizardfolk was a shaman of great importance. The lizardfolk are preparing for war over the matter.
  • Temlakos has retreated to Licanna's Rough and hasn't emerged since his scuffle at Tamor last year.
  • The murder of three fey guardians occurred in the Spellbound Wood in a single month. No one as yet knows the connection, although some believe that Goliath, Chosen One of Lupus is next.
  • Vampire warlocks have begun collecting and studying the large, three-eyed leeches from the Lake of Blood to the southweste of Tamor.

Wicked Maple Grove

  • The governor of Bygrove has declared martial law to handle the rising chaos in Bygrove. The Blackleaf Confederacy is sending support from all over, including Blue Arms (elite vampire warriors) from Tamor. 
  • Strange creatures have been seen in the wood surrounding the desolation of Heaminster.
  • A mage named Arlew Reeve has been operating out of the Ruined Tower of Gothmog of Udum. His intentions in Wicked Maple Groove aren't quite clear yet.
  • The Bear have been trading in arcane wards with the Merchant Kings to help defend themselves against the powers of the new gods.
  • A young bard by the name of Ilariel wrote a song titled 'The Return of Enombath' at the Academy of Arts. The sages quickly silenced her, warning her of Heaminster. However, members of the Crimson Council have been seen courting her to enchant the song.
  • One of the adventurers tasked by Aliyah and The Mournful Knight returned from the expedition to Woestone describing a "City of Death." None of the other adventurers survived.
  • A powerful artifact called the Efreeti Eye is rumored to be in the ruins of one of the towns in Known Wandrossa (Wicked Maple Grove, Drakecrags, and Alligator Loch). It is believed to have the power to open a portal to a Lost Elemental Plane of Fire.

Kash - M1 action A grin spread wide across Kash's face as he realized the other gods were all distracted... Far away, Illariel sat by the roadside, destitute. His reputation har been destroyed, his career ruined. He had nothing left. As he realized this, an enchanting light appeared before him, beckoning him out towards a nearby copse of trees. He followed the fairy light absentmindedly, as most do, deep into the thicket, never realizing the change as he passed through the greenway from the copse to where Kash was waiting far away in the Spellbound woods. "Hello, friend!" Kash said, breaking Illariel out of his stupor. The man looked around at the unfamiliar landscape confused and frightened. "What do you think of this stick?" "Stick?" The man asked. "Yeah, it's a cool stick right? Like a wizard staff!" the god clarified. "I'm Kash." "Ka- oh." Illariel realized who was before him, and thus the situation he was in, and fell to his knees. He stammered a few times, trying to say something, trying to say anything. "Y'know what sounds fun?" Kash asked, suddenly appearing eye to eye, not a foot away from the kneeling man, his tone "Sing me a song!" "A song?" "Yes! Sing me The Tomb of Enombath. The real one..." When the performance was done, Kash smiled gleefully and vanished, leaving the bard to wherever fate awaits a human this deep into the Hedera's territory after having just made so much noise...

Piermo - Might 1 bonus action - appearing as a simple trader I visit the Bear and warn them of all the gods and their machinimations and the events that had already transpired for better or worse. In return for this information I ask that they consider making a deal with the merciful god piermo so that going forward they may have an edge against undesired influence. Guaranteeing that a deal would be clear and followed to the letter.
