A Note on Temples

There seemed to be some confusion re: temples and temple levels.

So we're clear, the Max Temple Levels that a settlement can have does not mean temples, but actual levels. So if the MTL for a settlement is 7 and there is a Level 2, Level 3, and 2 Level 1s there, that means that there isn't room for any more temples OR for more temple levels until the settlement gains a rank.

Because of this confusion, I'm gifting anyone who tried to build a temple and failed last night a number of followers as if they had tried to convert agnostics. Moving forward, know that temples are quite scarce and rely on swift moves to replace and take over.

Of course, new temples arrive when new areas open up. We're only 18 away from two new locales, Alligator Loch and Blackheart, the latter of which will have a large city in it. So get some friends to join! Plus, I'm considering implementing a referral rewards program, so I'll keep you posted on that.

Anyways, new maps and updated follower and settlement data to follow. I'll be back in Discord probably around 10pm.

Also, please, please, please, fluff. This is not the wall street journal or AD&D. More context, text, paragraphs, and perhaps less spreadsheets ? IMO, less updates, but more meaningful and interesting. I didn't read this one in its entirety. I don't even remember half the gods and places. I don't want to have to look into it. I get more information from "it's been a bad year for Tamor as two temples were burned to the ground by fanatics... The gods of nature (etc.)"... Than by columns of numbers.

I don't think is for role-playing, I'm sure once the books are close fluff will be added, the point is to actually see the numbers, and what's working, and what isnt.

I'm absolutely here for the roleplaying. I think the game should be based on that, first and foremost, and screw maths. This is mythology. Performing miracles, being part of a pantheon, having divine family, lauching quests and crusades, being inscrutable... in short, being a god, cannot simply be a play-by-mail Risk game or a game of Civilization. If playtest must occur, then something more narrative than "build farm" should be devised. I'm god of death, not mayor of simcity "hovel edition".

Hey Romain, you're right. It is about RP. Once I get these helpers trained up, that's what I'm going to turn my focus to. :)

one thing that I was frustrated by, this may be my fault, but I can't check this for most of the day, so I missed my chance to oppose my temple being razed
