Yesterday, I put up a poll breaking down the racial demographics of the Blackleaft Forest region and now the results are in! I have to admit, there were quite a few surprises.

Elves - 22 votes - 15% - 123,218

Medusas - 22 votes - 15% - 123,022

Goblinoids - 17 votes - 12% - 98,496

Gnomes - 16 votes - 11% - 90,288

Humans - 15 votes - 10% - 82,080

Halflings - 14 votes - 9% - 73,872

Vampir - 12 votes - 8% - 69,566

Half-Elves - 11 votes - 8% - 61,762

Weretigers - 10 votes - 7% - 57,456

Cordies - 8 votes - 5% - 41,040

All other races - N/A - 1% - 8,208

Elves and medusas rule the roost, having almost identical population numbers. Makes me almost thing that medusas were actually once elves in this world and that some sort of Thanos-like vent split them into two.

Goblinoids are also in high attendance here, which is really crazy. Granted, they have to divide their numbers by three, but that's still a whole lot of gobbos.

Humans are fifth on the list! Which is crazy, since humans usually make up for 60 - 80% of fantasy world demographics.

"Evil" races are a popular, too, with vampir, weretigers, and cordies taking up big chunks of the population count.

I gave 1% to "all other races" in the world that didn't make the cut. That way, there can still comfortably be orcs, dwarves, and all the other fun stuff we're used to in Fifth Edition.

Let me know what you think down in the comments.

Maybe certain groups (subraces) live together in communities with other races, while the other group (same race different subrace) live with a whole different community of races, and due to the racial divide, there is tension between the communities, maybe even wars?

I like the split, though it would have been interesting to see the Shungmo to show up on their own slot. lol I guess I'm just being biased.

Haha who’s to say they don’t carve out their own spot still?
