Hey folks, as promised, here's the first entry for mass combat units. The mass combat rules themselves will be a part of the EVIL book release this weekend (if not sooner). In the meantime, here is a new unit to whet your appetite, based on the Acolyte stat block from the MM.

Acolyte Unit

Large unit of Medium humanoids (any race), any alignment

Speed 30 ft.

Skills Medicine +4, Religion +2

Senses passive Perception 17

Languages any one language (usually Common)

Unit. The unit can occupy a Medium or smaller creature’s space and vice versa, and the unit can move through any opening large enough for a Medium humanoid. The unit can’t regain hit points or gain temporary hit points, and if the unit has half its unit hit points or fewer, it makes its attacks rolls, ability checks, and saving throws with disadvantage.

Actions

Clubs. Melee Weapon Attacks: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft, one unit or one target within reach. Hit: 1 bludgeoning unit damage. Miss: 0 unit damage.

Sacred Flame. The unit targets one unit or creature that it can see within 60 feet of it. The target must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or take 1 radiant unit damage. The target gains no benefit from cover for this saving throw.
