The way LD is acting is justified. The way he sees it, Luc and Dan were flirting out on the balcony. I don’t know about you, but if I saw someone I like even though I'm not dating them I'd still get angry/heartbroken or want to be left alone. LD didn't tell Luc outright because he was not in the state of mind. Multiple thoughts were probably running through his mind like how Dan might have tried to get LD away from Luc. All this being said the communication from both sides did not end entirely, there's a good chance Luc can still comfort LD and start to understand the issue. Either way if he doesn't, it's the authors story and a great one at that, by taking things slow we are learning how characters react in different situations; we just learned that LD gets jealous easily and has difficulty explaining his feelings. I think personally, the Author did a great job with this chapter in displaying the emotions and actions taken by LD. And probably make the most sence regarding his character. Thanks for the update Author. :)
