I recorded this back in 2016 and 2017, but it's taken a while to get some of the footage approved for release.  I hope you enjoy the video!  Thank you so much for your support!!

Omg!!! Amazing video. I am so excited for future videos and the launch in December!

What cracked me up was your camera overheating. That is a common problem in space. I have not seen it nearly as common on earth…but I guess it is. Great interview.

Really enjoyed the video, the red shit is interesting. Red is really a matter of perspective 😂

Every part of the JWT is fascinating to me. I hope you do many more on it. I'm really excited because I know every time a major telescope has been made, we've learned something radically new about our place in the universe. When my grandfather was born, we didn't know galaxies existed, when my father was born Fritz Zwicky had just started talking about dark matter. I was born just when Penzias and Wilson discovered the CMBR. My kids were born as we discovered extrasolar planets and dark energy. Just the span of a few generations in a cosmic blink.

I really loved the "chalkboard" style animations and graphics in this video, they were definitely helpful for understanding. I'm super excited now about this telescope I had never heard of and the info it may bring to us. Thanks for covering this, Destin!

Beautiful nugget of wisdom, Destin. So awesome that you captured that here to share with the world.

Matthew 6:34 goes amazingly with how you and Dr. Mather ended the video, thank you for that!

So I kept meaning to swing through the comments somewhere and mention this. That nugget of wisdom strongly reminds me of the serenity prayer. It shifts a little in this case because early on and during development we do all we can. But there reaches a point where it leaves our control and there is nothing else to be done. Awesome video nonetheless.

Make the best plan you can with the information available, execute the plan, then let go. Yeah. That seems like pretty solid wisdom applicable to every aspect of life. Thank you, Dr. Mather and Destin.
