Here it is.  The finale of the Nuclear submarine deep dive.  I know this is a 42 minute video... but man is was stuff fascinating.  

The Nuclear Submarine Deep Dive has been incredibly amazing, and I'm grateful to have been given such an incredible opportunity. Thank you for giving me your time and allocating some of your precious time to learn this stuff with me.

Awesome series! I’ve said it before but it’s very neat to show my family what it’s like to be underway on a 688 submarine. They now have some insight on what my time on the USS Bremerton was like. Thank you for the content!

This was an incredible series Destin. Definitely on par with the how a helicopter works, which was my intro to the channel, but with maximum effort and the production quality was fabulous. Huge thanks to the U.S. Navy for all they do!!!

Your comment about the hoop stress had me chuckling. I've had a similar thought walking around a reactor at-power. "There's a lot going on not that far away from me" lol. Thanks for all the great content.

Simply amazing. Thank you. And the last one was probably the best one. Certainly the most exciting one. You could see the tension, and yes I think there was some tension, in everyone's face. Take the captain. What an awesome responsibility, but he trusted his subordinates to do their jobs. Let's face it, they would never become competent to advance if it were not for a captain willing to provide oversight, but not start barking commands. Good job by you, Destin, but we can recognize that the true stars were the Navy personnel. One thing. I thought submarines were referred to as "boats" and yet they often used the term "ship". I'm sure there is an explanation. Thanks again, and ciao.

Was your ionizing radiation count really 00.000 REM? Weird leading zero. Of course, all the water protected you from the bulk of radiation when submerged. :D

Just curious about the navigation part: The rudder operator looks at headings, but does that really work when it's that close to the pole? I can understand it when traveling above the ice, but the guy steering the boat has no other reference then the dials

This has been a great series. Have enjoyed it a lot. I've been on naval ships before. But, never a sub. Which brings up a question. I know everything is designed to maximize space, minimize overall volume of the craft, etc. But, how did you feel inside with all the crew members? Did you always have a cramped feeling? I'm 6'4" in my bare feet and have a football players build (OK retired football player :-) ) who also gets bouts of claustrophobia in certain situations. I was wondering if some of the common areas were as tight as they looked in the video or were actually a bit bigger.
