Good afternoon!

I'm really excited to announce the next new perk to all Patreon donors: The Henriko App Suite! The suite consists of three individual applications I have developed so far, all aimed at making your PC experience a little bit better by compressing, optimizing and converting any video and audio files you like to whichever formats you desire, at no extra cost!

These apps are:

Compressum

Swifly and easily compress any of your video files to a fraction of their original file size without sacrificing precious quality.

Convertum

A convenient solution for converting videos to a plethora formats with the press of a button.

Audum

The most effortless way to convert any of your audio files between formats, with no significant loss of sound quality.

These apps have been made with care and run entirely offline, all on-device. There are no ads, logins or in-app purchases. What you see is what you get, quite literally.

F.A.Q:

Wait, you develop apps?

I do! I have been developing software for a few years at this point, although for the most part my development career has been private and this is the first time I'm actually sharing my own standalone applications like this.

Why these apps?

I initially started development of these three apps for my own use, since I work with a lot of video and audio files in my other projects (as you know). However, they proved so useful to myself that I thought others might find use for them. And here we are!

Do these apps get automatic updates?

The apps are completely disconnected from the internet, so they cannot updated automatically. However, if or when an update gets released, you will be able to get it from here on Patreon immediately. Installing an updated version of the app will simply overwrite the old version, in effect updating it.

Do you plan on making more apps in the future?

It depends on how people feel about these apps! If people use them and like them, I'll definitely consider making more useful tools in the future to share with you all.

Which platforms do they support?

The apps are cross-platform and are available for both Windows, MacOS and Linux. All three versions can be downloaded from here on Patreon for no extra cost. The MacOS versions are also available on the Apple App Store, and are completely free this first month. So get them now while they're hot! (If you have a Mac, that is)

/ Also, I have several more really exciting projects in the works (one of which have been in the works for more than a year) and I can't wait to show you what I've been working on. Please stay tuned for more information soon-ish! /

I am only able to make things like this thanks to your support, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me do what I love!

-Henriko

So are the trojan scripts when I download a false positive?? 2 out of 3 got blocked when downloading. First time it has happened with one of your files.

I think they are safe. Checked all files with VirusTotal: Compressum: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/fa371c13f5511ea090c3c53cef753e4cd194e6f9903c47b1b44c2a019ffec2d5 Convertum: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/f3f0f58fdd871dc4479b7c3da30ffade67682be22ff0d0cee078c5dcfc35e32a Audum: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/c7ca139c2d44a96555fa8ce25bd0f344eccbd5c01457b0fab07e94fd58a940bb

Awesome Apps! Unfortunately, Compressum on Windows always say that I need to choose a output directory although i have chosen a few different ones. I screencap'ed it here: https://i.imgur.com/QFFFaff.gif

Can’t wait to give these a try when I get home. Always looking for better ways to compress video.

Thank you Henriko, tried today convertum :-) May you please be so kind and tell us what "Fast Conversion" does? Kind regards - Andy

Fast Compression simply uses a faster but slightly less efficient compression algorithm to save on time. For smaller videos it makes little difference, but for longer videos (30 minutes or longer) it can save several minutes or more to use the fast option.
