Hello again! :3

Once again it's the end of the month, and I have another animation report. This time I'm actually working on two animations! But the main focus is on the fox animation, so I'll start with that.

This animation has been a pretty challenging one so far, and it's definitely pushing the limits of what I think I'm capable of. Where before I've simply used the NLA editor to blend between animation stages, now I'm using it for fully-fledged animation. I've been layering actions, combining strips (using it to make adjustments to existing animations on the fly), and using it as a sort of overall timeline wherein I create and insert new actions as I need them.

It's a new workflow that I'm not totally used to, but seems to be working out so far.

At the moment I have ~50 seconds of animation, and using the NLA editor allows me to continue adding onto the animation with relative ease. I'm still not up to the juicy stuff yet, but a couple more scenes and then I will be.

I'm hoping in a few days to a week I can have a "viewport render" ready: that probably won't be anything fancy, but it'll be a little WIP preview just to show you all what I've finished so far.

As for the other animation, I'm turning "Cave Encounter" into an animation. It's just a small loop, as I can't put too much time into something that's not the fox animation right now. But seeing as the fox animation has taken a while and will take some time further, I feel like there should be a little something (besides stills) to put out in the time being.

I have the Diamond Tier half-res version of Cave Encounter all rendered, I just need to add some sound effects and then it'll be ready to go. Shouldn't take more than a day or two; it's just hard to work on stuff on the weekend, lol.

I'd also like to post some 4K renders of the fox animation, and I plan to do that once I've got a little more of it finished.

That's all for now. :D

As always, thanks for reading -- and thanks for your support ^^
