Hello again :3 Sorry it's been a while! It's been a pretty busy month, so I haven't had as much time to devote to this stuff as I'd like. Still, I've been working with Blender here and there, and I've finally got a little bit of something to show for it.

I wanted to do another tentacle animation, and I wanted to go back to using an HDRI for lighting since that provides the most natural-looking results. Aside from that, not a whole lot to tell about this one! lol. Though for some reason the fur on the right side of the model broke and I had to go in and re-comb the particles.

I'm also thinking that potentially this will be my last animation with this particular model. Like I mentioned in an earlier post, this model was made two years ago! Pretty crazy, lol. And though it's been updated throughout that time, it's at a point where I can't really push it any further.

There's a newer hyena model which I've been working on in my spare time, and I should have it ready to show soon. I know I said that back in September, but I did not predict that IRL would be getting in the way as much as it has, haha.

I'm hoping that next month I can start putting up screenshots of the new model, even if it's still WIP.

As for this animation, it hasn't been as difficult as some of my older ones, and I honestly feel like I'm getting better at this stuff. I think that in a few days to a week I should have the early preview video out, and not long after that I'll be able to upload the Patreon release.

Honestly I do like this character a lot, so it's possible I might re-rig it in the future using the new model's armature so I can occasionally use it in animations without much hassle. But the next one after this will likely be using the new model, and if things go according to plan then I can keep on making new models and actually start expanding my roster of characters, lol.
