(Sorry about how late this episode is D: I finally got around to editing it -.-'' Crazy week)

Charles goes back to a place that traumatized him as a child and faces his fear to gather a crew strong enough to stand against Eleanor. Meanwhile, Gates confronts Flint (who tells him he plans on taking a way larger share of the treasure than he's supposed to, so he can create his eutopia) and a few men in the crew start getting suspicious of John D:

Vane's mark means he was a slave. The other men don't have the mark, only the boy. Both were sexually abused by the leader, which is why Vane couldn't look the guy in the eye and why, even after getting him to agree but seeing the boy with the mark and knowing what the guy had done to him and was still doing he rejected the deal. Vane is such a strong man people can't picture it but like the guy said he was just a boy.
