Well, this was incredibly sad! D: Why did they have to make it Player vs Player? Wasn't it enough that they had to beat the game to survive, now they have to defeat friends, too? Uugggh!! Ali gets betrayed by Sang-Woo, the old man gets taken advantage of by Gi-Hun and our favorite pickpocket gets close to someone....right before she has to witness her sacrifice herself!!

Been great watching this with yas! Though this is why it bugs me when people are like 'omg episode X' ''the next episode is AMAZING, SAD, UPSETTING' or whatever or go on about it on social media as it sets up expectations and makes you anticipate things you otherwise wouldn't. The only two people I've known guess about them all playing against eachother are you, and myself when watching. They are also the two I know of who saw all the buzz on social media etc about episode 6 and knew going in it was going to be a rough one. Would have been great for that to be a surprise to me when watching but I was looking at the team ups and thinking explicitly 'how can this be made sad / rough when there's plot armour on these teams'

It's a risk with reactions, because as soon as I post a video or look for a thumbnail for a specific series, google and YouTube automatically start showing me content for those shows and 1 picture or 1 title can easily spoil us 😅 sometimes I wonder if other reactors just pretend they don't know or if they're never on the internet o.o In this case, every video on YouTube was about episode 6, so I guessed this was gonna be big (and it was)

I think the difference between Gi-hun and Sang-woo for me, is that Gi-hun was clearly visibly distraught about doing it, and at the same time the old man was giving him the opportunity, when presented with that opportunity I can't say I wouldn't do the same thing to save my own life. However Sang-woo was using emotional manipulation, and had this whole premeditated complex plan to screw over his friend. There was no opportunity there for him to be weak and scared for his life and take, but a plan that was entirely of his own creation and suggestion to do it. It's the same of comparing a crime of passion with a premeditated planned murder.

I agree, Sang-Woo's approach was a lot colder, which made it seem like he didn't care about what he was doing and who he was doing it to D: also when you consider that Il-Nam was a sick old man with, as far as we know, no family and Ali had literally told Sang-Woo about his wife and baby, the two man's responses can't possibly be judged on the same level
