Emilia faces the second trial with lots of strength and is rewarded with the support of the villagers, while Subaru and Garfiel try to help save everyone at the manor! Garfiel seems to be doing great against Elsa, but Subaru has a hard time convincing Beatrice to follow him D:

Fun fact about Emilia is her reflection in the mirror-water. Pre-trials she couldn't stand to look herself in a reflection because her appearance was the reason that people hated and feared her. It was so engraved into her that Puck, noticing her deep mental trauma, would remove anything reflective from her vicinity and stipulated it as part of their contract. Post-trial after Subaru's confesion and looking her reflection on the water I think she now fully accepted herself for who she really is.

While the witches do portray extreme varients of their associated sin, none of them seem anything less than wise. That being said, and being that she represents greed my theory for why Echidna hates Emilia is that she lost (or at least cannot attain) something strictly because of Emila. Emilia for the most part doesn't speak in a way that say's it's something she did (or at least remembers doing) so I think it's more a cirumstance of her existence that's in Echidna's way.
