This episode might be my favorite this season D: All the voice actors did an AMAZING job!! Some harsh truths were said and some sad ones as well, but what's important is that Maho introduced an idea in Okarin's mind that might blossom into the actual plan to save Makise ;)

Such a painful episode. Everyone's perspectives are valid and that's what makes the drama so good. Its easy to forget that Okabe is only human and is such an emotionally driven person. Maho is correct that in order to solve the problem you have to put aside your emotions and look at things logically. Which isn't an easy thing to do when dealing with trauma. Okabe is right that he is the only one who remembers everything, but he forgets that he's not the only one who suffers the consequences. The OG series showed us that even with every worldline shift, he confided in Kurisu and told her everything and TOGETHER they fought to save Mayuri. Here, Okabe isn't telling them. They are all there and are willing to listen and work together to find that better future. But his self loathing forces him to shoulder the burden alone so they can have a normal life.

But that's the thing, World War 3 is coming. This peaceful normal life isn't gonna last forever. Eventually the world will descend into chaos. That's what I feel SG0 is about. Steins Gate was about the consequences of his actions, SG0 is about the consequences of not doing anything. He thinks that if he doesn't mess with time, eventually things will sort itself out. He's deceiving himself.
