Things back home are getting crazier and crazier, but at least Hvitserk was not sacrificed....a poor innocent girl that Ivar passed for Lagertha did instead? o.o What the hell man! And he goes and kills the old man too!?! UUUGH!! And in England, Aethelred doesn't seem capable of killing his brother, but is it too late to make a difference? ):

I personally didnt see Ivar killing the fake Lagertha as him hiding a defeat, more of a strategy to solidify his rule but also a desperate way of trying to let go of his rage and need for revenge because hes finally getting a family and the love he always wanted from Freydis, I think he wants to be happy and I love how u see Ivar loves and cares for his brothers, especially Hvitserk. I hate how Hvitserk has no idea how much Ivar truly cares or needs him. I also felt bad for athleread too, he clearly loves his brother and wa swayed by his people. He may wants his birth right but is still like his father and cant just kill his family and does truly love his brother which u see him prove next episode.
