A very interesting way to show this battle and a very sad ending for this first part of season 5 D: So many characters died and the ones that are left are not doing well o.o What's going on with Lagertha's hair!?!?!?!

Ivar walking without the crutches was epic, with all his adrenaline and I heard he was also a beserker so he can feel no pain and keep going for amounts of time. Obviously he cant walk without his crutches for long because of his pain, and he always needs his braces but this shows you Ivars raw strength and determination he has inside. The fearless arrow scene was amazing too, the gods clearly are watching out for him too, not one arrow touched him and his own men jumped in his way showing their loyalty and belief in him. To be fair Ivar was winning without the french army, he just sent them in to fi ish it off quickly. And yes Bjorn did already marry the princess, it's been months since they met. It seems the woman Bjorn truly love either die or leave him, (Porunn and his latest wife) he clearly never truly loved Torvi or other because he never proposed to them or embraced them the same way. Bjorn is Bjorn though, a free spirit who will always get bored eventually I think. I think Lagerthas hair went that way through trauma like u said but I doubt she feels blame with the Aslaug thing still, just about Astrud and her unborn child and now shes lost her home/kingdom.

Keep in mind Hvitserk was the one who told Ivar to focus on Kattegat, to kill Ubbe and Lagertha, so hes not fully against it, the show has said hes a bit like Rollo too, but he isnt jealous like him, hes still finding himself and struggling to find his purpose, he does love Ivar but I'm sure he finds it hard and also hates him at times because he never sees Ivar vunerable much and never shows his pain, it's mostly his facade. Ivar and Hvitserk are both growing and learning. Ivar just wants reassurance and to be loved by his brothers, especially Hvitserk, that it deep down. That is heartbreaking when u think about it, but Ivars rage and need for revenge is getting thr best of him, which also pushed some of his brothers away more than him killing Sigurd. I truly believe they somewhat understand Ivar losing it, because those two always had conflict. Ivar got on with the others, him putting the down sometimes now, is a new thing, because he has power and has to be a leader and prove himself more.

Great review at the end.
