It looks like she doesn't know what's going on either XD This technology is so unreliable, there's no way to know what 1 text will change, because there's no way to know how people will react when they receive it!!! AAARRGH!!! And to prove it, once again, Faris makes Okabe use the machine for something (and she won't tell him what!!!!! STUPID!!!!) and the entire city ends up changing! SO DANGEROUS O.O!!!

Excellent discussion here. It's interesting to see how similar both Okabe and Kurisu are but so different in how they go about it. Both hold a strong indifferent front yet at their core they're both emotional people. Kurisu relies on her logic and superior intelligence to feel in control of herself, where Okabe goes the exact opposite direction and plays himself up as an over the top persona so very different from himself. He cares about people and tries to hide that behind a cruel, crazy and indifferent persona. Mayuri is a very observant person and being the one who knows Okabe the most and the longest, I feel she knows what's going on with Okabe. His sense of isolation and mania, he's not being himself despite seeming like he still is the same and Mayuri sees that. People harp on Mayuri for being useless but she's the most emotionally intelligent out of all of them and tries her best to keep them grounded and not get too caught up in these experiments. Mayuri is best girl 💯
