In under an hour, this episode single-handedly delivered on nearly every promise set up in the preceding seasons and somehow managed to do it all without feeling rushed or overstuffed. Six years since it first aired and it remains possibly the finest achievement of dramatic television I've ever seen.

Also, Holly saying 'Mama' was not scripted. Walt was simply meant to have a realization, but the baby saw her real-life mother offscreen and started calling out. Cranston just rolled with it.

Glad you guys caught on to the fact that Walts phone call to Skyler was a way of Walt taking the blame off of Skyler and making himself seem more evil.

Who would have ever imagined, at the beginning of this series, that we would EVER see Walt and Skyler, rolling around on the floor, wrestling with a knife, while Walt Jr looks on in terror? NIGHTMARE. I still can’t talk about Hank. 😭 This episode took our breath away. It was aired on a Sunday night, and I immediately watched it again, then cried for an hour, then had a hard time sleeping. The struggle is REAL. 🙌

And you’re right. Walt lashed out at Jesse out of spite because Hank was killed. Pure spite. Hank stayed brave and contemptuous of Walt until the very end. I loved him so much. 😭

Said it on YouTube and will say here again, you have given the best reactions to this show that I've seen and I've seen a lot of them. You are both incredibly perceptive and are in tune with the show enough to understand significance of key elements. Your genuine emotional reactions were also great. Looking forward to the last couple. Oh, and I'm sure you may have heard this by now but on off chance you didnt, that is considered by many people to be the best hour of television of all time. I'm definitely in agreement with that and I watched it when it aired. I've watched a lot of incredible shows since then but none have wavered that for me. Anyway, well done. Happy to be a patron.

It's not only imo the best episode of the series, but also like you said probably the best tv episode in history. When I first watched it, it left me speechless and I was shaking at the end.
