[Released] Affexon v0.25 - alpha (Patreon)

"Hello everyone,

I'm pleased to announce the release of the alpha version of Affexon. Please keep in mind that this is an extremely early build, and as such, there may be a number of bugs present. The dialogues in this build have not been proofread, and some renders may be subject to change in the final version (v0.3).

Since this isn't the complete release I had envisioned, there won't be any post-credit scenes or precaps in this alpha version. Therefore, I've decided to name it v0.25 to reflect its status.

To keep you engaged and to help me gauge my progress and performance under pressure, I'll be releasing alpha builds every 10-15 days until v0.3 is ready. This consistent release schedule will also help me overcome my previous inconsistency in delivering updates.

As these alpha builds are a work in progress and may contain bugs, I've decided to make them exclusive to the DemiGods level Patreon tier for now. Once v0.3 is fully tested and proofread, it will be released for other Patreon supporters as well.

Now, let's talk about the alpha builds themselves. Please take note of the following:

Critical bug fixes will be provided as soon as possible, while others will be addressed in the next alpha release.

My current version of Ren'Py lacks support for 4K videos running at 60FPS, resulting in a limitation where these videos will play at 30FPS instead. Despite my efforts to upgrade to the latest Ren'Py version, the game fails to detect videos stored in game folder for reasons yet to be determined. As a result, the videos in the game will be in 2K-120FPS.
