Here is a little test build of what I've been working on if anyone wants to check it out.  There is no dirty animations in this.

I apologize in advance for bad English. The butterfly's wings and flight are magnificent, very pleasing to the eye. As for melee, I think it's worth doing, that the character would go forward during the strikes. And it creates a feeling that the character sticks to the ground during a melee.

Thanks for taking the time to check things out! I've been toying with whether to have forward momentum on the melee, and for this one I opted to go for more a zelda feel, where there is no motion. I might try a few that do have that forward momentum, though.

Hey Mithos :) (my english is far from perfect, so pls bear with it) Got a little Feedback on your build if you wish to hear it: MOVEMENT: Climbing - detection seems pretty good and looks nice Jumping - The addition of the butterfly wings is a great idea and they feel good to use Dash - nice addition too, but i wish there was a little more control over it. The distance is spot on, but i may like to interrupt it. Running - Running feels a little slow atm. I wish there was a sprint button. Personally i´d like to see something like that: W --- current running speed / W+Shift --- sprint / direction + 2xShift --- Dash COMBAT: I like the flaming sword and think its a nice idea. But there is one thing that just doesnt feel right atm. The attack stops you dead in your tracks. That may make it quite difficult to actually hit moving enemies and annoy players. Seen it multiple times with other games. That may need some tweaking. On a sidenote: the bloodeffect may be a little to brutal, haha ;) But the new ragdoll and "stand up" animation looks great. Good job on that. Nice detail with the walking sound on different ground types btw. I do hope i don´t sound like an asshole here, criticizing your work >_< Just trying to give some constructive feedback. All in all it is quite an improvement to your last test builds :) Keep up the great work. You are one of my favourite creators because i do have the feeling you take this really serious. And not only as a cashcow like so many others do.

I appreciate the feedback, thanks so much for taking the time to give me your thoughts! I'll be keeping an eye on the movemoent when attacking.
