For enemies, I've set up an attack ticket system. This allows me to limit the number of enemies that attack all at once. Currently, enemies stand around when it isn't their turn, but that's something that can be fixed in the future. I hope this will make things a little bit easier, and if it has too much of an effect, I can always turn up the number of attacking enemies.
I also corrected a few things around enemies AI, and them stopping or not stopping at inappropriate times.
I also did a lot of work around environmental stuff. If it isn't obvious yet, I like really saturated colors, and it can be tough to find assets that aren't too cartoony that still fit that aesthetic. I'm having more luck, lately. While I will need to create some of my own assets, its good to know some things that I'm not confident with(like landscape tiling textures) are available and out there.
I even found some really nice insect and fish particle effects to use.
There are a few other things level wise that I worked on, but I do want to have a few surprises.
