As some of you might have already seen on Discord, I am planning to start working on a new game as soon as I'm done filling in Hedon's Wiki documentation.

I will obviously come back with more details but I figured I'd start dropping some breadcrumbs until I organize the design info in an accessible way.

I always wanted to make an imsim game and it's no secret that I'm a big fan of Thief, which was a point of inspiration for Hedon. So for about 2 years now I've been thinking of making my own stealth imsim based on the Hedon universe.
In order to do so, I will first need to pick up 3D character modelling and a more suitable engine like Unity. I plan to create a functional prototype/vertical slice first, and if I succeed, I will go on with the project.

In case I somehow manage to screw it up, then I will resume working on Hedon's final part, so either way, you'll be getting more stuff to play.

As soon as I have time to prepare the design info, I'll be sharing it with the patrons so we can all discuss it. So stay tuned!

Learning Unity, C# and 3D modeling, all together? It will takes a lot time even if you wanna emulate 98's graphics! In short: hard work ahead; stay strong!

It can't be worse than learning all the skills I had to put into making Hedon after all. If everything fails, I'll hire some people to help with the harder parts.
