Fun fact: the Paingun HUD animation only uses 4 frames in total, which is by far the lowest frame count of any weapon in Hedon (mostly because it doesn't require a reloading animation). At the same time, it was also the hardest weapon to draw so far.
You can see that one of the major problems was how to place the front handle so as the arm doesn't cover up the important spinning barrel which gives visual feedback when firing.
