Alien3 is very dull but still better than Covenant. A much better version of Alien3 is Pat Cadigan's novel, based on William Gibson's screenplay.

I'm sure Mitch knows this already, but the dog was featured more prominently in the theatrical cut. It served as the Alien's host, instead of the ox in the Assembly Cut.
