Punch Pizza!!!!

Moose

The film Young Adult is set there. And Charlize Theron bangs Patron Oswalt in that movie so Mitch, you’re most likely gonna bang a tall a blonde or at the very least patron Oswalt and that’s not nothing

Truth In Motion Studios

I live next to the town where the restaurant scene in that movie was filmed. My buddy actually owned the restaurant and got to meet Charlize and Reitman, didn't think to invite his best friend along though...

Please bring Gabrus.

PERKINS is the chain we must insist you cover. Every Minnesotan has at least two “Perkins Stories”. Nearly all related to partying, fighting, or messy hookups/breakups. No matter how you slice it, the real ass ones are still open 24hrs and the chicken strips w/ house honey mustard will warm your heart. It may no longer host the hazy smoking sections of the 90s-00s, but the spirit of Perkins and its iconic Tremendous Twelve Breakfast lives on still. Boys, trust me.

I have to disagree with Perkins. I think we want to put our best foot forward here and, while Perkins has never been the pinnacle of great dining, they are a former shell of what they once were. My suggestion would be for Zantigo (formerly Zapata) - Andy Ross mentioned the chilito recently, which they're known for, and they used to have locations in Ohio as well, but are MN only at this point. Zantigo was sold to Taco Bell in 1986 and then was established in MN in the 90s. Lots of history and really great fast food there. Beyond that, I think that Brasa Rotisserie, while a pretty small chain here in MN, is our best - their food is amazing and high-quality. Broadway Pizza, Punch Pizza, and MyBurger should be considered as well. Please avoid Caribou, Taco John's, and Leeann Chin. We also don't need any more litigation on Matt's vs. 5-8 :D

This isn’t the ‘Bon Appetite Podcast’, they should hit a classic MN chain institution. Would the concept of Doughboys even be fun anymore if they only went to awesome hot bougie restaurants??? Hell no! Hit the shitty diner from our childhood boys!

When they do these tours, why not advocate for something that’s actually good rather than a shitty restaurant that has declined greatly over the past 15 years and was spotty at best before that over some misplaced nostalgia. Why not suggest something they might revere like they do Culver’s? Lol at the idea anything I listed was bougie or that this is a push to only go to such restaurants, it’s not.

Perkins and Culver's are not MN chains people. I'm begging you boys, do Punch or Brasa! They are actually good!

Punch is just fine. As a longtime Minnesotan, I can't think of a native chain that will wow anybody. So, just do Culver's 2. Yes, it's a Wisconsin chain, but Wisconsin is a dump and doesn't deserve it. And Culver's is great. No offense, Wisconsin.

It's probably already been decided but I think they should do Flameburger.

Taco John’s!
