I'm from the east coast, so I sort of understand some of the east vs. west coast Chinese food thing. But damn, the San Gabriel Valley is like the greatest Chinese food area in the whole country. Also, when stuff opens up I'd love to hear you do Din Tai Fung, the Taiwanese soup dumpling franchise--they're in Arcadia, though there might be one in the city proper too
