Has anyone else’s RSS feed stopped working for the Double? This just started for me on Thursday.

To Nick’s point about Bloodshot already being a badass: it’s not a comic I like but in its defence the sympathy from the reader/viewer is supposed to come from his humanity and life before the nanobots being stolen from him, his struggle against those that use him solely as a weapon and keep wiping his mind. That it doesn’t translate well is a flaw of the movie as there’s a Frankenstein’s monster/Robocop/Wolverine aspect they don’t dig into.

Every Vin Diesel action movie where he's the main character is essentially Vin Diesel doing cosplay as an RPG character he's created with most of the cheats on (i.e. 'The Last Witch Hunter', 'Chronicles of Riddick', 'Riddick', etc). His movies are either absolute garbage, or some of the most mindless entertaining things to watch. Also, right on brand for the Doughboys that they get hung up on realism of Macs, porn rental, and penis sizes... :P

William J Cox

An interesting fact. The director of Bloodshot came from Blur Studios. Tim Miller, director of Deadpool and Terminator Dark Fate, also comes from Blur.

Pretty funny that the twist in this movie turns out to be a clumsier version of the end of Memento.

Hey guys, this released in theaters last month before theaters shutdown. It bombed but it was a theatrical release, not "direct-to-video". https://deadline.com/2020/03/vin-diesel-bloodshot-i-still-believe-the-hunt-weekend-box-office-coronavirus-1202882333/

The bad card trick description is how a feel about Rian Johnson and his subversive movies, especially TLJ. It always just feels like Rian is showing how much smarter he is because he can zag instead of zig.
