I went to a proper burger king location(apparently a very good one, they have certificates of excellence on the wall and stuff). The spicy chicken sandwich was significantly spicier than the wendys spicy chicken sandwich. You absolutely were just given the regular version. Now I'm a bit of a heatseeker and this actually had some real spice to it. When you have the actually spicy version the sweetness makes some sense as a counter point.
