Thanks for watching it. This movie and it’s sequel Grumpier Old Men have a special place in my heart. When the sequel came out my grandfather asked to go to the theaters to see it which in his condition at the time he didn’t want to go anywhere and couldn’t remember 5 minutes ago, but since this had made an impression we went even though I was sick. On the way home we listened on the radio about the huge blizzard that was hitting that night so my grandmother stopped and rented the original which none of us had seen. While we were snowed in and I had a very bad case of the flu we must have watched this 6 times. At the time it wasn’t a fun week but looking back it is a special memory.

Hope you watch the sequel "Grumpier Old Men." It's just as good. A few more Lemmon/Matthau duo movies I'd recommend are "The Odd Couple" (1968), "The Odd Couple II" (1998), and "Out To Sea" (1997).
