The whole Mutt dying in Vietnam thing worked for this plot, dividing Indy and Marion. (And I know that real life played a part in keeping Mutt out of this one.) I enjoyed the movie in the theater. But, while watching you watch this, I started wondering what it might have been like had it been Indy and his son chasing this quest instead of his goddaughter whom we'd never met before...
