This was a Christmas movie that I had never even heard of before and so I was excited to give it the chance because I really do love Christmas movies. The movie nails on thing... the ending! Just like every good Christmas movie, it has a predictable, feel good ending that envelopes you in the Christmas spirit. Man I love those cheesy endings so much and I am not ashamed to say I got chills. Besides that though, I found this movie to be decent. I didn't really like the father Michael, not because he didn't believe in Santa, but because I felt like a lot of his reactions to crazy situations were very underwhelming or downright unbelievable. I'll give one example. There is a point in this movie where he thinks his wife and kids were drugged by a man called "Gaylord" (seriously that is what they named a character...). Instead of getting mad about it, or trying to track down this man for revenge, or even calling the police, Michael instead just kinda goes "oh well honey you were drugged live with it". Besides Michael though, I really did enjoy my time in North Pole City and Santa/the elves were a lot of fun to be around. There was a great 80's TV charm to this movie that gave it a little extra magic and some of the effects and sets were really cool.

A nice and cozy little Christmas movie overall which I enjoyed!

Thanks for watching it. I figured you would enjoy the 80s cheese since there are very few 80s Christmas movies you haven’t seen. I’m curious to see if you realized the oldest kid was Malarky from Band of Brothers
