We all have been enjoying your mispronunciation of Maquis for quite a while lol. In all fairness not having heard it before a lot of us would have said it like you did as well. Little tidbit, the actor who played Koloth was in another TOS episode as a different character that you never watched and has been regarded in that episode as perhaps a Q-like person and maybe the inspiration for Q. I don't think this is a spoiler, in the Trek universe the Klingons in TOS actually looked that way and now they look the way they do meaning these 3 Klingons actually morphed into the standard Klingon look since then. Episodes of series 5: Enterprise explained it lol. Of course we know the real reason is once the movies started they had the budget and were able to make the Klingons actually look alien.
