The speech by President Clinton announcing receipt of the message was actually footage from a real speech — in 1996, a team of scientists thought they discovered a microscopic fossil in a Martian meteorite fragment, it generated a lot of hype, and the President ended up delivering a speech about the potential discovery. Ultimately no conclusive evidence was found. The White House was not happy about the footage being used.

This movie features not one but two stars of the original Alien. Also I am oldish so perhaps it is a case of modern slang going over my head but at one point you mentioned the "in famous" mirror shot. Now typically the word is "infamous" pronounced differently than you did and it means bad or notorious.
