I was starting to miss the presence of Winters and so I'm really glad he got a whole episode to himself! Crossroads to me, was not just about the literal crossroads that EZ company had to attack/defend throughout this episode, but also about Winters as a soldier. He desires to help his soldiers out on the battlefield and not behind a desk but even a man who desires battle can still be traumatically effected by it. I loved his moment in the Paris tram and I thought it was such a humanizing moment for him (not that I thought he wasn't humane or anything it was just a really well done moment).

The battle scenes were epic, gruesome, scary, and visceral as always and the ending of the episode left me with a plummeting stone falling into my gut.
