I'm so glad you're watching this! As you've probably learned by now, the majority of what you see is historically accurate, except for a few blatant inaccuracies which we'll tell you about later. When I first watched the series, I had some trouble telling the characters apart, but I think you'll do okay because we'll all be helping you along the way. The real-life soldiers in the intro are all characters in the show, but their identities won't be revealed until the end. The show was based on the book "Band of Brothers" by Stephen Ambrose. I love how much you're noticing the music, the direction, and the cinematography. It's truly an exceptional piece of filmmaking.
