Mini Review #10: Band of Brothers 1x4 "Replacements" (Patreon)

Such an interesting episode as I am not used to seeing the interactions of new recruits and seasoned soldiers working together. I thought it was explored really well and the naivety of the new soldiers combined with the respect for the soldiers who had already been fighting was a really interesting dynamic. The talking heads at the start with the actual soldiers as well brought up some really good insight about how they treated new recruits and I loved the comparison in uniforms saying that new replacements were too green.

The battle as well as really well shot and felt incredibly scary thanks to amazing camera work that was intimate and always with the struggle soldiers. Winters wasn't in the episode much though, I missed the guy.
