Th car crash and subsequent explosion were so over the top and out of tone with the rest of the film. It's very unintentionally funny now.

Yes there are some Star Trek actors in this!! Yar and Cochran!! Also, this is one of my all time fave sci-fi movies. It ranks up there with The Martian and Contact. I know you will LOVE Contact. (No spoilers:) it’s based on Carl Degnan’s book and he even oversaw some of the production of the movie. You will just love it. Also, also… please consider watching SpaceCamp (1986)!! I don’t think anyone else has reacted to it and it’s a true gem. Just got swept under the rug because it came out around the same time as the Challenger accident. You’re doing a great job with your channel!!!
