I just finished Star Trek DS9 Episode 1 "Emissary Parts 1+2" about 10 seconds ago and so the reaction will hopefully be up on Patreon either tonight or tomorrow morning sometime! 

The episode itself was FANTASTIC and I cannot wait to share my reaction with you all as I had so much fun with the start of the show and it made me so excited to watch what is to come in DS9!!

I agree with the consensus. Don't worry that the show may feel to start slow or be "meh" early on, that changes. Hell, the first two seasons of TNG are not that good and look what it became. Without giving anything away this series also features two non regular but recurring characters who are amazing, equal to Q but with many more appearances.
