But we do see Kurn again in Redemption parts 1 and 2. Worf serves on his Bird of Prey in part 2.

4 great TNG episodes I would recommend are what I call high concept sci fi premises with a big wow factor as compared to character episodes: Cause and Effect, Conundrum, Timescape and Parallels. The next series is DS9, which is my (and many others) favorite series. The first two season were good but with the start of the third this was one of the first series to feature not just a season arc but a whole series arc from season 3-7 which was truly epic in scope and visual effects. It also featured an emotional powerhouse standalone episode on the lever of Inner Light called The Visitor. The next series may be weaker but Voyager also featured many truly great episodes and also epic spectacle episodes and the series concept was a very fresh idea. And that Doctor... wow. The last series of this run was the shorter lived Enterprise. I think by this time Star Trek fatigue had set in and this series did not do too well. But I think it has come around to being much better regarded today. Not Star Trek related but I must mention the series that at the time when I discovered it became and still stand as my favorite TV series: Babylon 5. The first I believe to feature a series long arc and CGI epic scope battles which while dated at the time was mind blowing. The first and fifth seasons were weaker but the middle three are just legendary. I still to this day remember an emotional image from the final episode.
