This was my first time watching this too. It was better than I was expecting. I agree with you on the camera work and the score. My mindset with Michael Douglas is different than most because my first and still my favorite movie of his was American President which is a romantic comedy and he is actually likeable. Two movies that came to mind watching this was LA Confidential which is an award winning film noir also with Jerry Goldsmith doing the score and Dirty Harry which is a classic cop movie (and also stars a DS9 cast member). Thanks for finally checking Basic Instinct off my watchlist.

I really enjoyed this review/reaction. I highly recommend Fatal Attraction (1987), starring Michael Douglas and Glenn Close. It’s also a psychological, erotic, suspenseful thriller.
